About Elizabeth
I’m a depth-oriented therapist. My approach weaves together psychoanalytic perspectives to help uncover and understand deep-rooted patterns and transpersonal ways of working, to understand them as part of your journey and how you might move forward. My work is also grounded in embodied and contemplative ways of knowing, drawing on over 20 years of yoga and dance meditation practice, and Buddhist-informed perspectives around presence, compassion, and inner transformation.Where appropriate, I’m happy to integrate personality type and feeding your demons to support insight, clarity, and transformation.Alongside my clinical work, I bring experience in coaching, facilitation, and working with teams and organisations.I’m a registered member of the BACP, and I engage in ongoing training, supervision, and personal therapy to support ethical, evolving practice.I offer online therapy from the UK, welcoming clients based in England, Ireland, and internationally (where permitted by law and insurance).
Who I work with
I work with adults and young people, and offer a warm, collaborative, and reflective space. People often come to me when an old way of being no longer fits, but the new way hasn’t yet arrived. Some people come with a specific issue such as depression, stress or anxiety or life changes; others come with feelings of being stuck, uneasy, or with a sense of longing. I bring both my professional and lived experience of these landscapes. Whether you’re looking for a space to explore something tender or to reorient from something difficult, we can go gently and at your pace.
🧠 NeurodiversityII welcome people who have been diagnosed, identify as or suspect they may be neurodivergent (for example, autistic, ADHD, or dyslexic). Neurodivergence is part of natural human variation, not something to fix. I offer my expertise and skills as we work together at your pace to explore issues nuanced to the Neurodivergent community safely, as they arise.
🌈 Gender, Sexuality & Relationship DiversityI welcome clients who are queer, trans, non-binary, questioning, and/or exploring their identity. I also work with those in non-traditional or non-monogamous relationships. I’m skilled at holding space for conversations about sex, desire, intimacy, kink, and identity that are safe, reflective, and curious, particularly where these may be shaped by shame, silence, or past harm.
🧘 Faith & Spiritual Practice & CommunitiesI welcome conversations about faith, spiritual practice, and meaning-making in a way that is respectful and mindful of the complexities these can carry. Whether you belong to a particular religion, tradition, or community of practice (such as yoga, meditation, or dance), I recognise these spaces can offer both healing and harm, and you are welcome here.
🌍 Identity, Migration & DecolonisationAs an immigrant and someone who grew up between cultures, I understand some of the complexities that come with questions of belonging, identity, and home. Whether you feel like an outsider in dominant culture, institutions, or your own family, you are welcome here, in all your complexity.
♿ Chronic Illness & DisabilityI offer space for clients living with chronic health conditions, pain, fatigue, and disability. I offer a non-judgmental, flexible & supportive space that honours your capacity and needs.

Why Imaginal?
The inspiration for the name imaginal is two-fold:Imaginal refers to the deep inner realm of images, symbols, and felt experience. The place where insight, pattern, and healing arise. The name is also drawn from the concept of imaginal cells. Every caterpillar carries within it these remarkable cells, which are not caterpillar cells. They are always present and hold the blueprint for a butterfly. During metamorphosis, imaginal cells guide the emergence of something entirely new.Therapy can act as a container for this kind of change. A space where we are no longer quite who we were, but not yet who we are becoming. A place safe enough to explore what might emerge.

Personality Type
Personality Type offers a way of understanding the natural patterns in how we perceive, relate, decide, and engage with the world. Grounded in Jungian psychology and developed through tools like the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), it helps illuminate both our strengths and areas for development — not to label or limit us, but to invite deeper self-awareness and integration.Exploring type can help us make sense of inner tension, relationship dynamics, and life transitions.Where appropriate, I integrate personality type into therapeutic work as a way of fostering self-understanding, self-compassion, and the unfolding of new possibilities. Please let me know if this is something that you are interested in.
Feeding Your Demons

“With a loving mind, cherish more than a child
The hostile gods and demons of apparent existence,
And tenderly surround yourself with them”
— Machig Labdrön (1055 – 1145)
Feeding Your Demons is a guided process for working with the parts of ourselves that feel stuck, overwhelming, or in conflict. Rooted in Tibetan Buddhist wisdom and adapted for modern therapeutic settings by Lama Tsultrim Allione, the practice invites you to meet these “inner demons” not with fear or force, but with curiosity, compassion, and care.Rather than trying to get rid of difficult feelings, thoughts, or behaviours, the process encourages dialogue — helping you uncover not just what these parts want but also what they need and how they may be transformed. It can be a powerful support for emotional healing, self-understanding, and integration. As a certified facilitator, I am able to offer this process as part of therapy sessions, or as a focused standalone practice. Please let me know if this is something that you are interested in.You can find out more about Feeding Your Demons from the Tara Mandala website.
